The Process

Simple to start. Built to last.

From your first conversation to your child's first session — here is exactly what to expect.

01
Free Consultation

A relaxed conversation.
No pressure. No assessment.

Before anything is agreed, we take the time to understand your child. Not just what subject they're struggling with — but how they learn, what knocks their confidence, and what a good outcome looks like for your family. There is no test, no sign-up form, and no commitment required.

  • Year level, subjects, and specific areas of difficulty
  • Learning style, confidence levels, and what has been tried before
  • Your preferred days, times, and how often you'd like sessions
  • Pricing, scheduling, and any questions you have — answered before you decide
02
The Forte Match

The right tutor.
Not whoever is free.

Most tutoring services assign whoever is available. We don't. We use what we've learned in the consultation to hand-pick a specialist whose subject expertise, teaching style, and personality genuinely fit your child. If after a few sessions the fit isn't right — for any reason — we'll change it immediately at no cost.

  • ATAR 99.85+ in the subject they teach — specialists, not generalists
  • Matched on teaching style and personality, not just availability
  • A brief introductory call before the first paid session if you'd like one
  • Tutor changes available any time, at no cost
03
Lessons & Ongoing Support

Weekly sessions.
And we stay involved.

Sessions are online, one-to-one, at times that suit your family. But our involvement doesn't stop at the lesson. We check in each term, adjust the approach as your child grows, and reach out proactively if anything needs to change. The relationship between Forte and your family continues for as long as you need it.

  • One hour per session via Zoom or Google Meet, with a shared digital whiteboard
  • Weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends — we work around school and sport
  • End-of-term check-in with parents included as standard
  • No lock-in contracts — pause or stop with one week's notice
